Bio
Dave Coroner is involved in many musical projects at a time, weather singing/playing solo & duo covers sets, or as part of his full band, or producing the acoustic foundations podcasts for UKmusicreview.com, he is always busy... Sometimes the other commitments take him away from his main project, which is writing and producing his much anticipated debut solo album "Less than icons" which he has been in the process of recording for just under 12 months... There is still no date set in stone for the release of the finished product, but the idea of it being a 2007 release seems imminent, but for those who just cant wait that long, pre-release downloads will be available very soon through most major download sites such as this one...
Influences
The blend of sounds echoing throughout Less than icons lean heavily towards 90's/2000's indie and britpop scene, with a major honus on catchy groove beats of The Verve and Paul Weller and the deep thought out lyrics of James and Ian Brown. There is also an added air of classics such as the Beatles, The Kinks, The Who and Pink Floyd but at no point could it be said that any of the influences detracted the truly original sound that is Less than icons.
