The Songwriter- From the age of 8 i found i had a natural talent for picking up tunes on an old organ, so my mother encouraged me to take up lessons, which after 10 years and everything from Tom Jones to Bach, i moved over to keyboards, yet still treated music as a hobby. It wasn't until after the tragic loss of two friends i penned the song "Why" and although the song was personal, the resposne was overwhelming. It was at this point i realised how powerful songwriting can be. I decided to quit my job and go back to college undertaking a ND in popular music and then onto uni ending up with a BA Hons in music with management. i have been in several bands, lead singer, keyboards and backing vocals, which has been brilliant, and I love listening, performing, and i hope i will be able to make songwriting my fulltime profession.
