I Will "try" and keep this short and sweet my name is Katy i am from Wilmlsow in Cheshire , England . I am a singer / songwriter. I am currently busy in the studio recording some new material and working on some exciting new projects . Including recording the theme song for a fantastic New Movie out in America. Info on downloads and where and when you can listen to the song , and watch the movie of course , will be posted soon !!! Here is a "MINI BIO" of some of the other things i have been up 2 !! I have been involved in performing, music, drama and dance most of my life. I am a trained dancer in Ballet , Tap , Modern , Jazz . I started dancing at aged 4 at the Amanda Cooper school of dance and was there for 15 years taking part in all the shows and exams . I fell in love with the stage from that moment and it all went from there!!!! I started writing songs on the piano at aged 14 and started sharing them with an audience not long after . I was a member of S.C.A.M.PS Theatre group for 4 years (2000-2004). I had the opputunity to be part of some amazing award winning performances. Including playing the lead role in "Barnum" (Charity Barnum). I have travelled the country performing in some really fantastic shows...... Making it to the final stages on the BBCS NEXT BIG THING . Performing at Manchester united Football club for "Tommys baby charity" For a Celebrity filled audience & the following year For the Grand Oscar Ball in aid of destination Florida. One of the best shows i have ever done is Performing a solo set as a " Special Guest " for JOE PARSQUALE in his CURTAIN CALL SHOWCASE at the London Circus Tavern . More recently Singing a set including performing some of my own songs for RADIO CITYS RADIO ROAD SHOW where my performance was aired live on the radio. . Being selected from 1500 hopefuls as 1 of 5 solo artists to take part in the Mersey Stars Variety Show at the Liverpool Empire. Various talent shows , festivals and showcases both on my own and with a live band . Recently i have attended many workshops and song writing sessions in Manchester, London and Birmingham!!! I have learnt alot from this experience, meeting and working with some amazing and talented people. I am currently attending many auditions / interviews for different management / record and production companys around the UK , working hard on trying to get signed up .
