The band formed in late 2004, when principal song-writers Ian Graham and Dave Costello were introduced by a mutual friend. Bringing in a sublimely talented rhythm section in the form of Matt Highton and Kevin Brown a few months later, the band, then known as Testosterone, wasted no time in attracting an impressive following........ Playing to sold-out crowds of up to 750 people in their hometown of Wigan, their energetic, engaging anthems also earned them huge kudos stateside, thanks in no small part to a song that name-checked a certain swashbuckling, scissor-handed actor............... When ‘Your Johnny Depp’, a punk infused ode to the Hollywood heartthrob was posted on the group’s Myspace, it became a unprecedented online hit, garnering rave reviews and remaining a firm live favourite to this day. .................... Yet despite a continuing rise in popularity, the band decided that if they really wanted to make their mark on the world (which they did, and do!), they'd have to change direction. .................... Never ones to do anything half-arsed, the band laid Testosterone to bed in 2007 and headed back to their dedicated rehearsal space, locking themselves away and emerging six months later with said new direction, a whole host of new material, and a new name.................. Now, in late 2008. Ian, Dave, Matt & Kev are coming back.
