TUNE Blair's Britain - Big Mac
A funny little ironic song about one of the questions you get asked whenever you're in a chain shop - 'Anything with that?' and how it's symptomatic of consumerism. Dan Understanding and Kev Incomplete share the vocals - Kev comes in first - and the lyrics talk about how we're prone to over do it on the fast food front, before going on to talk about clothes and fashion, before the lyrics take over and the song itself starts to represent a culture of over-consumption.
They call me Mr Big Mac, my fingers dripping with fat, would you like anything with that? Yeah I want everything with that...
Have a listen. It's daft and there's a way to go before it's perfect. It chops and changes direction more like a Gordon than a Tony. But they could be about to do something hilariously funny and slide precariously up the slippery pole.
