"Matching the glamorous melancholy of early Interpol to the intensity of The Fall, a frenetic piece of distorted, black clad rock 'n' roll" Clash Magazine
"Bete Noire serve up millennial post-punk in the style of Interpol and Bloc Party" NME
London-based band Bête Noire have announced their next single release will be 'D Level Dirt', out on September 1st.
Despite only having been an entity since early 2013, the 5-piece have already built up an impressive reputation in London's independent scene with their darkly sinister brand of indie-rock.
After releasing their debut track 'Shut Your Mouth' in late 2013, Bête Noire performed an almost relentless stream of acclaimed London shows, leading to supports with the likes of Tripwires and Bernard Butler, as well as performing at this year's Great Escape Festival.
Now the band are set to further showcase their unique style with the release of new single 'D Level Dirt'. Combining the cutting guitars of early Bloc Party with the sickly come-down sounds of 'Turn On The Bright Lights' era Interpol, 'D Level Dirt' is a sultry sleazy cut of infectious rock that earmarks Bête Noire out as one of the new ‘ones to watch’.
'D Level Dirt' will be available from all good digital stores on September 1st 2014 and will precede a string of new releases from the band throughout the year.
