TUNE Little Dot.Big City - Call it a Sin
Call It A Sin, written and performed by Eloise Rees (Little Dot.Big City) and produced by James Arter at Wandsworth Studios is the latest release from the Oxfordshire songstress. Driven by a heavy beat, haunting vocals and wrapped up in dark and twisted synth, ‘Call It A Sin’ is a step away from Eloise’s traditional acoustic set up.
Singer-songwriter Eloise Rees has been crafting her melt-in-the-mouth, folk pop melodies since the tender age of 14, as a regular on the Oxfordshire music scene. Recording currently as Little Dot.Big City, she is working collaboratively to create fully produced original records and draw influences from all genres, whilst still performing acoustically to offer a stripped back version of many of these heartfelt songs. Her latest release ‘Call It A Sin’ has been described as ‘folk based dirty pop’ and is set to be the beginning of a new era for Eloise Rees.
The inspiration behind the song was drawn from looking at the idea of ‘sin’ in modern society. “The song is about facing adversity and being true to who you are in order to find happiness” - Eloise Rees.
