Fabric Bear are an Indie Pop band from Scotland consisting of Ryan Hunter, Callum Jones, Callum Fergusson and Matt Graham, who all knew each other as friends in the Scottish music scene, and after previous projects not quite working, they decided to come together to deliver indie pop anthems with sing-along choruses and infectious melodies.
With only two singles released online, Fabric Bear have already managed to create a real buzz in both the Glasgow and Edinburgh music scenes due to their exciting new music and memorable live performances which include supports for The Blinders, YAK and Baby Strange in only the past few months. They have a busy summer planned with two brand new singles planned for release, a headline show at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, festival appearances and plans for a tour in September/October.
Their 2 singles ‘Without You’ & ‘Pop Song’ were both added to well-known Spotify curated playlists such as “The Indie List”, “Hot New Bands” and “Summer Indie” and have since received 250,000 streams in total.
The latest single ‘Pop Song’ recently received its debut on BBC Radio 1 on ‘The Indie Show’ with Abbie McCarthy, who praised it by saying:
“I dunno what’s in the haggis or the Irn Bru up there, but it’s making some superstars… THIS IS AN ANTHEM!” – Abbie McCarthy (BBC Radio 1 ‘The Indie Show’)
