Based in Manchester since 2014, FINOLA is a country-pop singer-songwriter from Leeds. Having gigged all over the country and released her own music independently for the past three years, she is continuing into the Summer of 2020 with a brand new single, written with bandmate Jack Wild. Following support from BBC Introducing and subsequent performance at the BBC Countryfile Festival in 2019, the singer-songwriter has gone from strength to strength. She has played alongside some of the biggest names in UK Country and supported international artists such as Anna Burch, Carson McHone and Black Sea Dahu.
Finola burst on to the UK country music scene in 2017 with the release of her debut EP ‘Waterworks’. Still working at her full-time cafe job, the aspiring songstress is known for documenting her own relationships and hardships as she goes along. In March 2020 she embarked on a solo adventure to Nashville where she wrote and performed in the city, fulfilling a lifelong ambition.
Finola describes herself as an honest songwriter, ensuring that every story she tells through music has some sort of personal connection to the events in her own life.
