Formed in 2004, Buffalo, New York’s dreamy noisemakers The Daysleepers set out with a singular mission to help resurrect the shoegaze genre that had nearly passed away by the time the 2000s hit. Starting with the impressive Hide Your Eyes EP and a year later The Soft Attack EP, The Daysleepers caught the attention of shoegaze fans and artists around the world. In 2008, their debut album Drowned in a Sea of Sound, became an instant dreampop classic and 2018’s long awaited follow-up, Creation, only launched the band further into the ambient rock stratosphere. With the reverb and delay pedals cranked, The Daysleepers mix shoegaze, space rock, post-punk, new wave and dreampop elements in such a way that it creates an otherworldly sound of its own. Plug in the headphones, turn down the lights and drown in beautiful sound.
