TUNE Havelock - Scrambled
Having released four initial singles on a London based independent label, Havelock is poised to release his debut EP, "TRY B4U BUY" and "Scrambled "is the first single. Confirmed 2020 live dates include The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City, Up The North as well as a London headline & EP Launch at Eletrowerkz (24 March).
The 5 track EP is all about the polarity of life, the idyllic shiny surface-view compared to the harsh reality of life. The artwork features 5 adverts from a yellow pages catalog and each advert will mutate with each release.
Scrambled explores the vulnerable state of Havelock's mental health having found himself between a rock and a hard place in his love life. He emits a state of confusion during post Glastonbury blues.
This is reflected in the artwork in the bottom right-hand corner red circle as a mental health hotline. In the build up to the pre-release the artwork (showcased through socials) shows a smiling lady on the phone but in the actual single artwork her emotional state has been accentuated through child like scribbles. This highlights the extreme feelings Havelock felt at the time.
