TUNE Jag - Chemical Ali by Juno Maracas
Tags
The keenest of treats from the leanest of streets, Chemical Ali is the most intriguing slice of gleelectronique chic a l'orange to have hit the scene since D'ilbert Camembert released his ubiquitous opaque epic "La Maison Et La Drill".
In order to construct Chemical Ali, Juno Maracas had to first of all erect scaffolding around the space where the track was going to exist and then climb to the top of the scaffolding and throw 57 boxes of analogue squelches, thudding beats, bubbly belches, scrambled pops and jingly scrunches into the void and let the tune take its form in an organic, democratic and yet uncompromising way. This was left to mature for several hundred years and then the scaffolding was removed to reveal the track as can be heard here.
