Jay Moussa-Mann is an idiosyncratic songwriter whose songs draw on myriad sources – modern anxieties, her faith and her Turkish-Cypriot background. A writer and filmmaker, she made her first feature film Ruth the Musical in 2018 and shortly after released her debut album, Little Deaths. She has been played repeatedly on BBC Introducing, Tom Robinson’s Show on BBC Radio 6, The Bob Fischer Show on BBC Tees, as well sessions live on BBC Tees. She has performed at Twisterella Festival, The Waiting Room and Middlesbrough Mela. In August 2020 she took part in the Sage Summer Studios Music Residency.
She is currently working on a brand new EP set for release in 2021.
