TUNE Masterman Ready - He Didn't Change The World Tonight
He didn't change the world tonight, he didn't think he could but he was kind of hoping, that someone out there would.
He should be looking for the answers in everything he said, instead he's sitting on this bench and tipping back his head.
He's pouring in the liquid that will register him dead. I hope one day we find him, he's somewhere in his head.
He doesn't know much more than propping up the bar, taking to himself while pouring in another jar. It's a sad sad situation he's found himself in, he's rolled the dice a thousand times but god knows that he never wins.
When he takes the time to look back at the years, he's made so many mistakes surrounded by his hopes and fears. He'd like to find the time to make a little change but it's so hard to make a change, when you've pissed your whole life away.
After all, he had no one to call. Back against the wall, waiting for the fall. After all, when you went round to call, no one came to the door you saw his body on the floor.
He didn't change the world tonight, he didn't think he could and I know it's kind of selfish but I was hoping some one out there would.
