TUNE PINS - Waiting For The End
“Manc post-punk monochromatic minimalism, Adam Ant drums, Siouxsie declamation, banshees guitar – this is sublime.” The Sunday Times
Though 2013 will be remembered fondly by post-punk scrappers PINS, having seen their debut album Girls Like Us win rapturous reviews upon release in September, it didn't exactly begin in the rosiest of personal circumstances for the Manchester four-piece. “All of us, simultaneously, were reeling from failed relationships, so we moved into a house together dubbed Heartbreak Hotel,” says vocalist Faith Holgate.
It was here they drew a much needed line in the sand under those collapsed romances, writing Waiting For The End, a frantic emotional exorcism dripped in spit, sweat
and redemption. “It's our one and only break-up song.”
