Mollie Coddled is self-produced Dreampop artist based in Leeds, UK. Merging Dreamy Indie and R&B, Mollie pairs soft, soulful vocals with a soundscape of hazy, echo-laden guitars and synthesizers. Being independent and influenced by the bedroom pop scene, Mollie records and produces her songs in her bedroom, bringing an intimate, lo-fi feel.
She writes and performs all parts of her music on her own songs, taking DIY to a new level as she is flying completely solo but does however perform with a session band when playing LIVE shows.
Her style is often compared to the likes of Clairo for her dreamy melodies and summery synthesisers, while also taking Influence from artists like Still Woozy and Rex Orange County all artists Mollie has featured alongside in Spotify Official playlists "Peach" and "Lo-fi Indie".
Discussing topics of abusive relationships and mental health throughout her repertoire, Mollie brings the voice of the new generation to the table, representing feelings that are widely shared between her peers but rarely spoken about in the mainstream.
‘One More Day’ explores experiencing what is thought of to be “love” for the first time but unknowingly being gaslighted into staying in an unhealthy relationship.
