Old Ricoh are a four piece band from Coventry and Warwickshire who like to ‘Have it….rock and roll style’.
Old Ricoh are a young band with immense presence and undeniable talent and need to be seen Live to be appreciated.
Old Ricoh have been together for over eighteen months and in the bands short life they have been touched by tragedy with the loss of their founder member and ‘Drumming Prodigy’ Andrew Travers. This experience has broadened the shoulders of the band and stoked their inner desire to succeed……for their friend and brother.
Old Ricoh to date have entered competitions of high regard and played many great local venues with success, so much so they have been filmed by MTV after reaching the final stages of the ‘get seen, get heard…oxjam’ and were aired on MTV 2 throughout the whole of March/April 08.
A programme called ‘The Contenders’ was also aired in May o8 on MTV with Jo Whiley narrating that featured Old Ricoh.
The band is concurrently taking part in the surface unsigned festival having reached the final stages of that also and impressing all the way.
