The annual grind of touring across Europe, from the far reaches of Poland to merry England, sometimes leaves many bands shell-shocked and content to bask in the warmer climates of the Southern Hemisphere.
Tuscoma are not that kind of band.
Instead, the former Hollywoodfun Downstairs duo have harnessed their time surrounded by European architecture to craft their final musical form - a blackened punk "noise" influenced by brutalism much like the raw, concrete environments Kurt Williams (guitars, vocals) and Joe Wright (drums) have immersed themselves in during their mammoth European schedules.
The very seismic shift from their first works of Williams to their new musical output has led to the group eschewing their previous persona and almost referring to Tuscoma and their album "Arkhitecturenominus" (mastered by Jack Shirley - he who was at the engineering helm the incredible Deafheaven album "Sunbather") as a new band and a debut album.
