Biography
Nuuxs is a French born singer songwriter who grew up in Hackney. Her music style is influenced by Tarantino soundtracks and Lo-Fi beats which are demonstrated in her debut single "Holy Man" released April 8th 2016 which has since received over 50,000 streams on Spotify. The track was produced and co written by Jake Gosling (mainly known for Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, The Libertines, James Bay, Paloma Faith) etc. Starbucks also added "Holy Man" to their in store playlist.
On June 17th 2016 Nuuxs and Gosling collaborated on "The Cry EP" delivering "Cry as the next single again receiving over 30,000 streams since its release. It was also placed on the "New Music Friday UK" playlist by Spotify. The EP has been described on numerous blogs as "Bold pop" to "stunning" and she has been compared to Lana Del Rey, Gwen Stefani and Adele.
Nuuxs learnt her trade playing in Jazz clubs growing up on Soul and R'n'B to musicals such as My Fair Lady, Les Miserables etc. She has recently sold out 4 shows since her debut performance at The Kensington Roof Gardens February 2016, followed by The Pheasantry Chelsea, The Groucho and more recently Soho Jazz Club as the head line act. Her nostalgic voice and intimate performances have captured her audiences and even heard on Huw Stephen's BBC Radio 1 show.
