Having already played Y Not Festival, supported Picture This and received BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music airplay, Dublin’s indie pop quartet Orchid Collective return bigger and better than ever with ‘Otherside’, dropping June 1st.
Orchid Collective consists of four musicians from each corner of Ireland, taking a wide range of influences from the likes of Alt J, The 1975, Villagers and Kendrick Lamar. Through dreamy guitars, soaring melodies and emotive yet genuinely raw music, Orchid Collective have made a name for themselves, making it impossible to ignore. The mid-tempo, feel good indie anthems have led to the band playing 57 shows in Ireland alone in 2017, making their debut UK performance at Y Not Festival and receiving support from the likes of Clash, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Hot Press and JOE.ie.
Constant touring and dedication to the road has seen Orchid Collective grow a loyal fan base, playing packed out tents at almost every festival in Ireland in 201 as well as UK tour dates. Since, they’ve appeared on Spotify official playlists ‘Fresh Finds’ and ‘Breath Of Fresh Eire’ and recently added to playlists on RTE 2FM and RTE Radio One.
