Adelaide’s Atlas Genius release their new single ‘Symptoms’ on the 6th May through Warner Bros Records. The single precedes their debut album, ‘When It Was Now’ out on the 13th May 2013. US blog Neon Gold discovered the brothers’ first ever recorded track; ‘Trojans’ which they had uploaded on the Triple J Unearthed Website and wrote a praising post about it. Before the band knew it, dozens of record labels, publishers, lawyers, booking agents and management companies from all over the world had emailed them. ‘Trojans’ began selling over 1,500 tracks per week on U.S. iTunes and soon climbed to 45,000 sales in early 2012 - all with zero promotional efforts from the still-unsigned band. In April 2012, the band signed with Warner Bros. Records across the globe. Since then they’ve toured the US relentlessly, selling-out their shows and upgrading venues, living the past nine months solidly out on the road. The album instantly debuted in the US as the #9 Digital Album and #34 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. ‘Trojans’ found its UK release, in February 2013 in association with independent label National Anthem (HAIM, Chvrches, Sir Sly) as the band put the finishing touches to their debut album.
