After releasing a couple of low-key singles in the latter half of 2011, Theme Park are ready to stamp their mark all over 2012 with this first release on Transgressive Records on April 2nd. Upping the game with this Luke Smith-produced single, ‘Two Hours’ is a sonic electronic exploration in to the heartfelt emotions of songwriter and lead singer, Miles Haughton. Thanks to the release of ‘Wax / A Mountain We Love’ (paradYse) and ‘Milk’ (Luv Luv Luv), Theme Park were voted second in the ‘Blog Sound of 2012’ Poll. They’ve received strong radio support in the early stages of their career, notably from Huw Stephens, Nick Grimshaw, Zane Lowe, John Kennedy and Lauren Laverne, and signed their album deal with Transgressive in November. They’ve toured the UK with the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Summer Camp and The Antlers and are about to support Florence and The Machine at Alexandra Palace. They recently announced a co-headline tour with The Cast of Cheers kicking off at the end of February and running through until March 8, with a headline show at London’s Lexington on March 6.
