Black Moth release new single ‘Looner’ on New Heavy Sounds 20th April. It’s the second track to be lifted from their new album ‘Condemned To Hope’ and is a brooding, burning drag race of a tale of balloon fetishes, locked within a thick guitar-fueled circus of proto-metal darkness, offering more than a tip of the hat to L7 and PJ Harvey. Black Moth rose from the Leeds underground scene, taking their trash culture fixations and love for Stooges squalor and Sabbath sulphur in the studio with Bad Seed Jim Sclavunos to record their debut album ‘The Killing Jar’ (2012). Jim was at the helm for the recording of the new lp too and ‘Looner’ will be released on limited edition flexi disc, complete with free download and a limited edition print. Live: MARCH: 20th @ Glasgow, Ivory Blacks / 21st @ Leeds, Belgrave Music Hall / 22nd @ Bristol, The Exchange / 23rd @ Wolverhampton, Slade Rooms / 24th @ Manchester, Gorilla / 26th @ Southampton, Talking Heads / 27th @ Brighton, The Haunt.
