TUNE Black Moth - Tumbleweave (radio edit)
Black Moth release new single ‘Tumbleweave’ 15/09/2014 on New Heavy Sounds ahead of their anticipated second album ‘Condemned To Hope’ (15th Sept).
Featuring original artwork by prog icon Roger Dean and produced by Bad Seed Jim Sclavunos, ‘Condemned To Hope’ sees the band take their kaleidoscopic heavy sound to a whole new plateau of riff-driven dementia. Black Moth skilfully sidestep the cliché and heavy handedness of delivery that often seems fit to destroy contemporary heavy rock ‘n’ roll. They’ve shared festival stages with the likes of Electric Wizard and Neurosis, and more recently featured alongside Nick Cave, Iggy Pop and Deborah Harry on the third and penultimate Jeffrey Lee Pierce Sessions album ‘Axels And Sockets’.
Following a recent European tour supporting Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, Black Moth play Truck Fest, Oxford 18th July, Y Not Festival, Derby 1st August and Raw Power Festival, London 31st August.
“A lot of bands have utilised the Black Sabbath blueprint, but few have twisted it into such fabulously dislocated shapes as Black Moth” Kerrang
