TUNE Fröst - Crackling on the Wire (K-Scope Coexistence Mix)
Fröst release new EP ‘Keratin’ via Lost Room Records on 19th May.
Fröst is a collaboration between Franco-Swedish sound artist Johanna Bramli and Fujiya & Miyagi’s synth player and producer Steve Lewis. Combining their individual sounds, they create a hypnotic blend of analogue synth swells and sporadic percussion tracks creating subtle pop structures.
The pair hone skills in both tension-building and crafting vivid hooks while blending 80s pop with ethereal vocals against electronic beats. Hints of psychedelic influence are shown as Johanna’s vocals soar over the infectious rhythm of the instrumental.
