TUNE LIFE - Too Grown Up (LIFE vs Chiedu Oraka)
LIFE releases new single ‘Grown Up’ via their own Afghan Moon label on 29th June.
LIFE return with the anthemic and frantic new single ‘Grown Up’, the first to be taken from their forthcoming LP. The track is a pounding slice of muscular indie-rock that plays with the theme of adulthood - stepping up to your responsibilities and behaving maturely. It sees the band hone in on a bigger and more focused sound.
Their anti-establishment outlook and witty, off-centre social commentary underscores everything they do. Hailing from Hull, the current City of Culture, they tackle the new wave of youth and working class discontent with both savvy and style.
LIFE will play a number of festivals and embark on a headline tour this Spring/Summer: May: Live at Leeds (5th), Stag and Dagger Glasgow (6th), The Great Escape (18th & 19th), Gold Sound Festival Leeds (20th), Bearded Theory Walton-On Trent (27th) June: All Points East London (1st), Long Division Theory Wakefield (2nd), 53 Degrees North Hull (9th), The Lexington London (14th), The Shed, Leicester (15th), Sussex Arms Basement Tunbridge Wells (16th), Green Door Store Brighton (17th) July: Tramlines, Sheffield (20th), Leopallooza Cornwall (28th) August: Electric Fields Dumfries & Galloway (31st).
