TUNE Shopping - Take It Outside
Shopping release ‘Take It Outside’ on 15th April via FatCat Records, the third single to be taken from new album ‘Why Choose’ (2nd October 2015).
Formed in East London in 2012 by members Rachel Aggs (guitar), Billy Easter (bass) and Andrew Milk (drums), Shopping forge an itchy, angular explosion of propulsive bass lines, primitive disc-not-disco drums and guitar lines sharp as broken glass. For their brilliant new album ‘Why Choose’, their debut for FatCat, Shopping teamed up with James Grier (Animal Collective, Japandroids) at Glasgow’s Green Door Studios.
Onstage Shopping are a blisteringly energetic, taut and utterly engaging live act. The band head out on a UK tour this March and play Nation of Shopkeepers, Leeds (21st), Fulford Arms, York (22nd), Bungalows And Bears, Sheffield (24th), The Rainbow Venues, Birmingham (25th), Wales Goes Pop! 2016, Cardiff (26th), DIY Space for London, London (7th April) and finish up at ATP 2.0 2016 curated by Stewart Lee, Prestatyn (15th April).
