With inspiration drawn from as far afield as the cobwebbed trees and gospel choirs of family in the Deep South, and as close as the sex shops and speakeasies of Soho, SERAPHINA serves straight-up Pop Noir. A born-and-bred Londoner, her songs are blues-flecked, soulful psalms to the night. SERAPHINA’s nocturnal anthems weave images of backstreet alleys, neon lights, desire, heartbreak and anarchy with hymnal harmonies and 50s Doo Wop. Having performed solely with electric guitar in 2017, the new live set sees SERAPHINA's soaring, haunting vocals against brooding tremolo guitar, distorted bass & Motown-inspired rhythms for a raw, blues-infused performance.
After the successful release of debut EP Altar in 2017, the follow-up single 'Mistress Mayhem' is due April 20th.
