Drawing comparison to the likes of CHVRCHES, Twenty One Pilots and Paramore, SKIES deliver huge choruses and honest lyrics amongst their trademark blend of addictive, powerful synth pop.
Produced by Oz Craggs (Mallory Knox, Feed The Rhino), third single ‘Drone’ is a perfect marriage of synth hooks, weighty production and made-for-radio top lines.
Taken from ‘If You Feel Like It’ EP, ’Drone’ is the follow up to the two successive singles ‘Feel Like It' and ‘Leave Me' which accumulatively notched up 50,000 YouTube hits and 40,000 SoundCloud streams in two months, garnering attention from 6Music, Amazing Radio and a spot on BBC Introducing's 'Record of the Week'.
After recent UK dates alongside Baby in Vain, Coasts, Pixel Fix & MOTHXR, the band saw out their busy touring schedule at the end of 2015 with an appearance at the prestigious Club NME, KOKO.
‘Drone’ will be released as a single on 29th January 2016, with two remixes from The Walton Hoax and Amethysts. SKIES are Alie Cotter (vocals/guitar) and Jericho Tozer (vocals/synths). They hail from Folkestone, Kent.
