PUNCHING SWANS/FRAU POUCH ‘MR INSIPID’ THE NEW EP RELEASED 11th SEPTEMBER Punching Swans and Frau Pouch team up for the ‘Mr Insipid’ split EP, released 11th September on Skingasm Records. Not satisfied with the glory of one band, evil mastermind Joe Wise (bassist in Punching Swans, guitarist in Frau Pouch) devised a scheme involving both performing and recording the same song. A musical Venn diagram, if you like. It’s backed with two brand new songs (‘Bees’ by Punching Swans and ‘Coma Beard’ by Frau Pouch). Punching Swans and Frau Pouch can regularly be absorbed shouting through amps and microphones across their home ground in Kent and London. Both bands are writing material for their respective new albums, PS following up last year’s ‘Mollusc’ and FP prepping their debut. Both recently appeared at this year’s Homespun Festival with more live dates tbc.
