Having introduced themselves at the start of 2017 year with a stunning debut track ‘Where No One Knows Your Name’ and quickly following it up with the live favourite ‘The Heart’, Stereo Honey made it clear that they were here to lead the global resurgence of soulful indie guitar music, driven by the solid beats of Jake Black, accentuated by the intricate guitar soundscapes of Nicky Boiardi, guided by the grooves of bassist Ben Edwards and always framed by the stunning vocal delivery of singer Pete Restrick.
What followed for the London quartet was a rapid rise throughout 2017, that culminated in them releasing their much lauded ‘Monuments’ EP in the December of that year.
In March, Stereo Honey released the single ‘What Makes A Man’ and the track immediately caught the attention of fans and media alike, securing 4 Spotify New Music Friday’s, #1 spot and cover stars on the prestigious ‘The Indie List’ & ‘Top Of The Rock’ playlists and the much coveted Radio 1 - BBC introducing playlist with 6 x daytime plays.
Stereo Honey continue to dominate 2018 with their desire to play shows in the farthest corners of the country having recently announced their debut headline tour. Their directive here is simple, make sure their name is consistently on the lips of all of who happen to be in the audience, and make people leave unquestionably proclaiming them as a serious contender to be one of the artists that rises to the very top.
