David Pattillo aka Strange Majik is a multi faceted producer and blues rock icon on the New York City scene. He is an Emmy nominated producer who has worked on the music of Norah Jones, The Alabama Shakes, Robert Plant, and many others mixing the hit TV series "Live At The Artists Den." His collaborations include up and coming singers Valerie Broussard, Fiona Silver, Melanie Charles, and Kennedy (The Kennedy Administration) on his 2015 release "Lights On." He has blazed a two and a half year-long residency at Tribeca's Belle Reve performing Tuesdays for celebs like Kim and Kanye, Elon Musk, Kevin Dillon, and Giancarlo Esposito, and jamming with NYC staples Danny Clinch, Hollis Brown, Brian Newman, James Maddock, rock stalwarts Willie Nile and even rock royalty Jakob Dylan.
Bred on the backwater blues style he honed in his two-piece predecessor The Dead Exs, Pattillo’s been know for his raw talent, explosive energy, and rock 'n' roll authenticity. His keen song craft shapes his many recordings whether it's blues, funk or psychedelic rock.
