TUNE Damn Dirty Duke - Slow Release
Scottish dark wave/new wave/cold wave duo now misplaced in London starring sound and visual artists Colette Dryburgh & Detroit Law.
The duo came to prominence this year with the release of their 3 singles collection and accompanying videos exploring themes of sci-fi, synthetics, suffering and dystopia, the mechanical heart beat to their sound and aesthetic.
D/D/D’s forthcoming E.P “Multi Muscle Disciplinary” delves unapologetically into the theories of “Mechanomorphism” a concept inspired by celebrated Scottish artist and sculptor Eduardo Paolozzi.
Humans are a species so in tune with technology that we now choose the synthetic over the organic and now possess the qualities of machines whilst also regressing to our former tribal traits.
