VOLUMIcriminali formed in Genoa from the ashes of various punk/hardcore/grunge/metal/crossover bands.
At first sound was hardcore old school, aggressive and powerful.
Original line-up includes Francesco Ratti “pogo” on vocals, and Renato Campanini “ renna” on guitar. Musical growth leads up to the decision to complete it with a melodic voice, so Emanuele "Shuster" Pecollo (formerly November 2), joins the band.
The sound becomes a powerful crossover, more contaminated and articulate.
Lyrics, mostly written in Italian, become thoughtful and intimate, leaving issues "politically incorrect".
In 2010 VOLUMIcriminali released first album, "Riflessioni di cambiamento", a full length of nine tracks, that represent the band's history, from its origins to 2010, when found the definitive line up with the entrance of Luca Morga (from Broken Hollow) "ragno" on the bass and Roberto Travi "bacchetta" (formerly Boogamen) on drums.
They play at several concerts and festivals, sharing the stage with bands such as Mellowtoy, Devotion and Indigesti.
After an intensive work of arrangment on new musical ideas, the band fulfills the EP "frammenti d'istanti" published on October 2014, by the historical italian label Vacation House Records.
The 5 guys become part of Jack Rock Booking Agency roster which is planning a promotional tour.
"Two voices duet intelligently on a rhythim like Rage Against the Machine, with a base rhythmic and aggressive at the boundary between Korn and Deftones and with melodic sounds between Staind and A Perfect Circle."
