Zen Fuse Box is a collaboration between long-time friends, Steve Davis, Peter Preston and Rich Marcil, whose stylistic musical differences lead to a satisfying, genre-defying result. Our full-length debut CD can be purchased online at www.CDBaby.com/cd/zenfusebox.
Steve (who is the bassist in the Tomkats Jazz Orchestra) plays the bass and drums. He sometimes plays guitar and keyboards, and sings a little bit. He does some other stuff too, including pushing buttons, twisting knobs, and cursing at malfunctioning equipment. He also owns the microphone, which is quite useful.
Peter (formerly of the Ignatucks) sings most of the words. He also blows into the harmonica, the didgeridoo and the trombone. On occasion he bangs on things. He can also stay up really late at night.
Rich (the guitarist and leader of The Forefathers) plays guitars of the 6 and 12 string variety, both acoustic and electric. He plays a mean tambourine and also uses the e-bow (google it if you don't know). He picks on the mandolin now and then, and likes cats.
